HOUSTON, TX – Are you under their influence? Time Magazine has revealed its 2014 list of the world’s 100 most influential people.

You know, the usual suspects: politicians, artists, billionaires, athletes, a Pope, one ayatollah, Mr. Whistle-blower and Malala, the girl who defeated the Taliban. They all got to share the sacred pantheon of influence. But now y’all put your hands up for Beyonce, Houston’s own superstar, who’s been picked for the cover and got to strike a pose.

Not only does Queen Bey have millions of fans all over the world: she has plenty of worshipers too. There’s a church out of Atlanta where believers can join a religion called Beyism, and they even have a bible!

OK, enough with that! Now, who’s Houston’s most influential person?

Is it Mayor Parker – you know, all the headlines with her marriage and such? Sheila Jackson Lee? Or what about superman Dwight Howard or even Matt Schaub – he influenced a lot of hate last year, didn’t he?
