AKRON, OH - Sometimes it's not worth going out to dinner when you can have a spicy night at home. That is all one woman in Ohio wanted, but it just wasn't meant to be. After an argument over chips and salsa, Phyllis Jefferson, 50, stabbed her boyfriend. Jefferson told police that her 61-year-old boyfriend was eating all of their salsa, so she yelled at him and jammed a pen into his pelvis.
Then, while her boyfriend was distracted, Jefferson went to the kitchen and grabbed a small knife. Her stabbing spree continued, sticking the knife into her boyfriend's stomach before taking off in her car. Cops caught up to Jefferson down the road and arrested her after she confessed to the attack. The boyfriend is expected to recover.
Good Mexican food in Ohio sure must be hard to come by and worth the fight.
