NO WAIT WEATHER + TRAFFIC is the only morning program in Houston with this unique focus. CW39 Chief meteorologist Adam Krueger, meteorologists Carrigan Chauvin and Star Harvey cover a huge range of in-depth weather topics that both inform and educate viewers. The goal is to keep Houston safe and aware during major weather events. Also, including forecasts you won’t see anywhere else on Houston TV… Your grilling forecast. Dog Walking forecast. Gardening forecasts – even running forecasts are among a huge variety of weather outlooks you’ll see only on CW39 Houston.

WHAT’S MOST UNIQUE ABOUT NO WAIT WEATHER AND TRAFFIC:

  • LIVE looks at cities across the country
  • Weather forecasts from other sister stations across the country

Most recently, Chauvin was there to cover the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, that devastated here hometown of Chauvin, in southeast state of Louisiana.

The only traffic anchor on Houston TV is CW39’s Hannah Trippett. She gets stories online before the show begins! She not only gives you up to the minute morning commute updates that get you to work on time… She is also a sports expert. She and Krueger talk a LOT about topics from weather and traffic, sports and more. Including contests, like the Pro Football Challenge going on now till the Big Game in February.

News is also included in the morning program and anchor Sharron Melton has you covered, every half hour with plenty of topics that fill the format of the show!

New to the team Gianna Ghiglino is a multi-media journalist who reports from the field on local community stories, like the work of Mattress Mack and even interviewed the Houston Mayor during her first her first day September 9, 2021.

Also new to the team, Purdue graduate Sydney Simone, who most recently covered the 9/11 memorial in Houston.

KIAH’s parent company Nexstar Media Group, Inc., gives us more options to compete in the Houston market moving forward, expanding impressions throughout the local community.
