HOUSTON, TX – If you mosey on down to the to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, you better bring your appetite! Every year, H-town’s hoedown promises a plethora of fair foods, and this time around is no exception.

To celebrate these culinary delights, the rodeo folks hold a competition every year called the Foodie Awards. Eight different categories that are judged. From breakfast foods, to fried foods to best food on a stick. Forty hungry judges in all participated from Houston media outlets to pick the best foods.

Rodeo food vendors pit their best plates against each other all for the chance to boast this year’s bragging rights. By the end of the competition, there were plenty of winners on hand. Once again proving, if you go to the rodeo and expected to stay on your diet, then fat chance
