PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are still dealing with a pair of nagging injuries as they open preparation for their Week 12 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on the road.
Both safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and defensive lineman Montravius Adams are working through injuries that have kept them sidelined for multiple weeks but have not been ruled out for this weekend's game yet.
"Minkah is working hard to be a component of this week's plan," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. "As is Mont Adams. In both cases, we'll be thoughtful about their participation. We get later in the week, we'll let the amount of that participation and the potential quality of that be our guide in terms of availability."
Fitzpatrick suffered a hamstring injury early in the Week 8 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars and has been slowly working his way back. The Steelers relied on Damontae Kazee and Trenton Thompson to fill the void last week with Fitzpatrick and Keanu Neal out with injuries.
Adams has been inactive for the past two weeks after suffering an ankle injury against the Titans in Week 9. Keeanu Benton and Armon Watts have pitched in extra reps with Adams sidelined.
