HOUSTON (CW39) – A fatal auto-pedestrian accident has cleared from the scene in downtown Houston. The scene blocked I-45 through the center of downtown Houston for several hours. Here are updates from when it was first reported.
1:05 p.m. >> The accident has cleared. All traffic is now flowing through the area.
6:00 a.m. >> Heavy traffic builds this morning behind a fatal auto-ped incident. Southbound lanes along the north freeway are stop and go past 610 loop. Avoid the area if you can.
