Ronald McDonald Houston "Run for the House" is this weekend! The race raises money for the local Ronald McDonald House, which houses families and their children when they are going thru medical care at the Houston Medical Center. CW39 Anchor Sharron Melton talks with Cristina Vetrano from the Ronald McDonald House and Christian Diaz, from "Trafigura" a sponsor of the run and who's child actually used the Ronald McDonald house while receiving treatment at the medical center. December 1 is World AIDS Day, and the United Nations released a new report to mark the day. According to data presented in the report, AIDS can end being a public health threat by 2030, but only if communities on the frontlines get the full support they need from governments and donors.

Planet Fitness held its annual Build-A-Wagon event benefiting The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston on Wednesday at Minute Maid Park. The local fitness leader built 9 wagons to be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston’s Santa Project program. The Aranda's Bakery statue on Airline Drive near the Heights, has been stolen. The business said it's going to give folks until later Friday December 1st to bring it back, or they are calling the police. The theft has generated a lot of buzz on social media. Now the owners just want it back.
